Beta Readers

I am a firm believer in beta readers. They're vital in raising the quality bar.
Jaye & Bridget's comments on the unfinished products are actually funnier than the stories, so I'm offering them up for your amusement.

World-Famous in Iowa
The Voice of the Iowa State Cyclones, Pete Taylor, passed away on March 5, 2003, of complications from a stroke. He was 57 years old. Most of you have probably never heard of Pete, but he was a good friend and colleague for six years. This article appeared in the March 17, 2003 issue of Sports Illustrated and is reproduced without their permission. Requires Adode Acrobat Reader.

New Government Signs
This is quite possible the funniest thing I have ever received via email. Requires Adode Acrobat Reader. If you don't have that, you need more help than I can provide.

The Infamous Exploding Whale
No, it’s not an urban legend or email hoax. It really happened back in 1970. Don’t believe me? The reporter involved just wrote a book. The Exploding Whale: And Other Remarkable Stories from the Evening News by Paul Linnman.
